Hi Folks, hope you all are doing great in your life and really excited nowadays as Diwali is just at the doorstep. Diwali is all about enlightening up the whole atmosphere to kill Demons and all the Evils. So till Diwali arrives why don't you guys match some steps with the Evils ?? LOL, no no I am not saying you people to practice occult or anything sinful. But yes there is a movie out in theater, named ANNABELLE .. you can watch it..
So I am here to share my views on the movie. No, please don't call it as review. It is just my view in my words. Horror movies are really a little offbeat when releasing in India, so I have hardly watched few in theater. Before that I should say anything supernatural excites me to the core and thus I am an obedient horror freak. Thanks to IMDB for guiding me every time. Unlike my last encounters with horror movies in theater, Annabelle didn't disappoint me. After I watched the trailer I was awaiting for this movie to get released in India. Anyways let's come to the points which I would love to share.
How many of you have watched Conjuring ?? (I know the answer. 99.99% as it was a huge hit). So do you know anything about Warren Couples ? Yeah !! right ... They are the same who actually handled the Perron's case in Conjuring. Warren couples actually handled many cases and many of them were actually transformed into horror movies. Like Amityville Horror, Conjuring and now Annabelle. These stories attract me because it really happened, in real. If you don't know much about Warrens then please go here. To know their paranormal experiences you can visit their site too.
Annabelle was a doll which was possessed by a evil spirit and then ANNABELLE movie is all about. Annabelle used to write and move of its own.
"In 1970 a mother purchased an antique Raggedy Ann Doll from a hobby store. The doll was a present for her daughter Donna on her birthday. Donna, at the time, was a student in college, preparing to graduate with her nursing degree and resided in a tiny apartment with her room mate Anngie (a nurse as well). Pleased with the doll Donna placed it on her bed as a decoration and didn't give it a second thought until a few days later. With in that time both Donna and Angie noticed that there appeared to be something very strange and creepy about the doll. The doll apparently moved on its own, relatively unnoticeable movements at first, like a change in position, but as time passed the movement became more noticeable. Donna and Angie would come home to find the doll in a completely different room from which they had left it . Sometimes the doll would be found crossed legged on the couch with its arms folded , other times it was found upright, standing on its feet, leaning against a chair in the dining room. Several times Donna, placing the doll on the couch before leaving for work, would return home to find the doll back in her room on the bed with the door closed.
Annabelle the doll not only moved but could write too. About a month into their experiences Donna and Angie began to find penciled messages on parchment paper that read "Help Us" and "Help Lou". The hand writing looked to belong to that of a small child. The creepy part about the messages was not the wording but the way they were written. At the time Donna had never kept parchment paper, on which the notes were written, in the house, so where did it come from? "

if you can remember Annabelle was in Conjuring too. Just a cameo appearance. So let's come into the movie part.
The movie was overall okay. But didn't scare me much. I expected some more. Few questions were unanswered and few sequences were unplanned a bit. Warren couples were totally omitted there and they didn't even show how Warren couples got connected to Annabelle. They could show Annabelle's activities with Donna and Angie which they started showing in Conjuring. Though Few scenes were shocking and nicely directed, the end was very pale as I was feeling nothing.
Precaution : Regular horror non watchers can get easily goosebumps in few scenes. So beware.
