I made them cry ..

After a month I think again I am penning on Indispire topic. Today found a very sensitive topic which is

When was the last time that you did something good for others and that brought a genuine smile at your face?

And it is better to read the posts under this topic rather than sharing. Because it is really good to listen who had done what which pleased the own spirit.

So when I read the topic, only one deed came into my mind which made me smile and made the others cry. Don't panic. I am not that cruel to make other pained to cry.

In this short span of life, I might have done good to others and might have helped others in many ways. Those incidents too made me smile several times. But today which I am going to write about, made me feel so pure from inside. I didn't do anything physically, neither I did some social work with my hands but I just wrote an article.

The article was about Ex-Soldiers and their sacrifices to our country and about how negligible they are in our civilian society. I wrote it in this blog and later on that article was chosen by Indian Ex-Servicemen League Kolkata district unit for their annual souvenir. I was glad that it was chosen and then got published. Happiness touched my soul only when I heard that many of the old veterans cried after reading it. I was happy that I could touch their emotions of sacrifices which they did during their youngish days. Thus I made them cry and trust me that day will be remembered in my life forever. I might not have done something helpful for them, I think this was an emotional small deed from me to upraise their pride a little bit, to cover up the negligence they had gotten before.

and it made me smile with immense satisfaction.

My published post is here.

Paint me there !!

I love painters. Since childhood I always wondered how magical their hands are. Those people are truly blessed who paint and express their muse, thoughts and create something so supernatural, sometimes real and magical with their imagination power. I love colors and thus any painter's creative art makes me happy and thoughtful and there Raja Ravi Varma comes .. As his sense of Indian Oil Painting attracts me so much.. His every creation depicts some nostalgia and old Indian living style. They are erotic and sensuous too and today just saw that Rang Rasiya is going to release !! umm !! Let's wait because I really would love to know the root and causes of each paintings... God knows what is going to happen in there ?

"Thought to be a little thoughtful and this came up "

I want to be your strokes of brush
I want to be your lines of fine arts
I want you to capture me
with the elegant rapture

I want you to stop the moment
forever and forever
I want you to make me still
with your palette and colors of love

sprinkle colors on me
pour me life
and paint my heart
paint my love !!

this one says so much isn't it ? Her eyes are so expressive

this recent video  is so good !! I love it

Astanayika ... Abhisarika Nayika

Many of us know and many don't. Asthanayika in Natyasashtra are an integral part of Indian Classical dance and music. Saint Bharat depicted eight mental and emotional states a woman can have. All the states belong to being in romance and love. Ashtanayika is an integral part of Abhinaya in various Indian classical dance forms and it has been used in many portrait, wall art, sculpture as theme.

I should ask prior apology for what I am going to do. I am not here to poke or hurt anyone's sentiments those who are very much involved with Natyasastra as I am a devotee of Indian classical dance and worshiper of it. Somehow after getting indulged into Abhinaya especially 'Khandita Nayika' I finished reading other seven Nayikas too. I realized that we women are ocean of sentiments and secrets. We pass through various emotional state while in love and relations. Sometimes we express but few times we don't. We suppress our grief in deepest level of heart and tolerate everything. These eight scenarios were true then and will be true universally for the rest of the time world can have. So suddenly I thought to write few poems based on the same concept one can have.

Mercy please !!  this try is just a form of expressing my influence...

Abhisarika Nayika
one going to meet her lover ]

Like a flute plays its tune
like a Sitar riddles its string
you put a wave in my chords of heart ...

Day and Night ,
I see you in my meaningless sight ...
smile alone, think deep,
and never sleep ...

You sprinkled some magical spree,
and I am a lady in love
I swear .. I can do anything to bring you
into my life...
I dare, hardly fear
of the world that stops me from
your blare ...

You might not know
that I was heeding you through the leaves
from my balcony,
You were reading a book of love then
with anticipation and agony ...
next you were painting a woman of your dream
I wished that woman would be me...
I just watched all your expressions and hue,
you might not have known that
I was right there for you ...
